And it’s not only because of the Games Grumps as a publisher and developer. Dream Daddy is a visual novel that drags you into the story of a father and his daughter. All seems ordinary except for the dad’s sex orientation – he likes boys. And his child is ok with it! The game isn’t actually a dating sim in traditional sense: no points to gain, no additional achievements to complete. Just be yourself and play as everything’s real. When you meet other people, talk to them (sometimes you’ll be given a choice of possible answers). Whether the characters appeal to you or not, depends on your responses.
How it all starts? You (as the main dad-character) and your daughter Amanda decide to move in to Maple Bay. The passing of your spouse is the reason for this decision. In order not to live with the sad memories forever, the small family needs some changes. But as soon as they come to a new place, handsome men desperately try to become your friend. There are seven of them. All look fantastic but is appearance the most important in relationship? Not to make a mistake and choose the wrong guy, go on dates. Dare kiss bold Robert? Wanna flirt with your old college buddy? Nothing’s banned. It’s interesting how the things will develop and who will be your only one. You can have three dates with the same dad and then you’ll receive the ending of the current story. If you read fast, it may take you forty-five minutes to finish dating with the man. However, there’s no rush and if you need time to appreciate his advantages just do it.

The writing of the game will keep you intrigued. It’s also funny and sweet enough. The voice acting of the characters consists of different sounds: positively grunting, laughter or the sign of surprise.
